How is the "commercial score" calculated?
The commercial score gives every trend a single score from 0 to 100, so you can spot its commercial opportunity at a glance. The higher the score, the stronger the opportunity.
It brings together three metrics you already know:
Growth → how the trend's visibility is evolving compared with last year
Magnitude → how the trend compares to its peers in the same category
Cluster → where the trend sits in its lifecycle
Trends that have been relevant among Trendsetters lately get a bonus.
Each score comes with a short recommendation, so you know what to do with the signal right away.
Where to find it
The commercial score is available for all main colors, prints and fabrics, in both Apparel and Shoes.
For wardrobe staples, such as Black or White, you'll see an Evergreen label instead of a score, as recommendations don't apply to them.
