How does Heuritech use AI to analyze images?

At Heuritech, we use our own computer vision technology to recognize fashion details in images. This system was originally developed by our two co-founders, both PhDs in Artificial Intelligence, and is continuously improved by our Research & Development team, so it stays accurate and up to date.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Built with fashion expertise
It starts with our Fashion Experts, who break down each product category (like dresses or outerwear) into a detailed list of criteria to detect, such as fit, length, waist type, color…

2. Collecting and labeling examples
For each attribute, our Data Operations team collects thousands of image examples from multiple sources and manually labels them. This ensures our models are trained on high-quality, relevant data.

3. Training the model
We train our AI using the labeled images so it can learn to recognize each fashion detail. Over time, the model learns to spot these attributes in a wide range of photos, even when styles, lighting, or angles vary.

4. Testing and improving
After each training cycle, we run thorough checks to see how well the model performs. This helps us fine-tune results on existing attributes and gradually add new ones as we improve the system.
